Italian Serie B, Matchday 12 Previews
The 12th week of Serie B comes with a very interesting game. Reggina and Salernitana meet in a game that the home win has the advantage. The home win is offered at 1.65 and could be this week's Serie B "banker"
Reggina v Salernitana
In the midweek round Reggina lost against Lecce for 3-2: they were defeted in the last minutes of the game despite the fact that they were leading the game. Their new manager Iaconi wants the win today: he is expected to use a very attacking formation 3-4-3 . Brienza, Cacia and Pagano will be the players of the front line. Bonazzoli not be included in the first 11. Santos is out due to an injury.
It is important to say that the club has hired a new sports director: Gianni Rosati. Manager Cari will present the team in a 4-4-2 formation with Fava and Caputo in attack. Important Kyriazis and Soddimo are suspended.
The home side are in a must win situation. I think it will be a “banker” for this round. Home win at 1.65
Lecce v Empoli
Lecce are very near to the top of the league table: they are playing with motivation and in a very profitable manner. However, all regulars are out due to the flu. The scheme used will be 4-3-1-2 with Balcet, Marilungo and Defendi in attack.
Empoli have difficulties in away games, but they are a good good team. Strikers Vannucchi and Eder are unavailable for this game.
Even though Lecce are tired due to midweek match against Reggina, they are well equipped to face another important game.

Albinoleffe v Gallipoli
Albinoleffe are still searching for the first home win. They recover Cisse who will not be included in the starting 11 but he will be available as a substitution. Ruopolo and Celliniare are the two striker manager Mondonico will use in order to get his so-wanted win today.
Gallipoli won their away game in the mid-week round, against Brescia. Manager Giannini will use 3-5-2 with Di Gennaro and Ginestra in attack. The match is balanced, value is on the home win.
Home win at 1.90
Triestina v Torino
Triestina are improving thanks to the new manager Somma, but this game is going to be a very hard one. Torino will try to grab all three points using their good strikers of Bianchi and DI Michele. Vantaggiato will start at the team’s bench.
Triestina will play in 4-2-3-1 with only Godeas in attack. I believe that there will be a few goals scored in the game, but also that Torino could impose their strength and experience here.
Away win at 2.40
Modena v Vicenza
Manager Apolloni has recovered all regulars: important Pinardi will not be included in the starting line up but as a substitution, the same as Giamp. Bruno and Luisi will play from the beginning.
Modena are a good team and usually play well at home. Vicenza are poor at home but dangerous in away games. Important absences are those of striker Bjelanovic and Bernardini. The visitors are very fast in counterattacks, but Modena really need the 3 points to climb higher in the league table.
